Successful Internet Marketing - Content Marketing

To become successful in Internet Marketing I told you a couple of days ago that you need Content Marketing. However, thousands upon thousands of people like you and me know this. Therefore you and I must master the art of article writing to beat our competition. So I give you a suggestion later.

But first let me tell you about myself. I decided some years ago to start earning money online as affiliate of Karatbars. That sounded easy enough because I was sure everyone wanted to change their papermoney into gold. Perhaps they want that but nobody saw my affiliatelinks :)

So after awhile I realized I must learn Internet Marketing.

And like thousands of others I failed miserably at that too. It took years of trying and testing before it was clear to me. People want content! The problem for me is I want the whole word to see my content and I am a good writer...... in swedish. The english language is not my native language as you probably noticed already. So it took some more time before I felt ready to post an article in english. Now I am very interested in internet marketing and learn more about it every day, maybe I can be a marketing coach someday.

Now to my suggestion about to successful content marketing:

Be true!
Your readers and customers love true stories. Trust me on this.

People know when you are stretching the truth. When you are writing an article on a particular product, make sure your story is believable.

If you don't, and the customers find out the product doesn't do what you said it would, they are going to ask for a refund. And the real damage caused by this is your loss of creditability. These people will never buy from you again.

People who are interested in topics related to your business will search for content about it online. Make sure you have great content in many places linked back to wherever you want them to end up.

Write short and to the point. Keep your articles between a minimum of 250 words to a maximum of 1000 words. Today’s readers want their information as fast and quick as they can get it.

Matt Capala wrote: In a world where 80% of customers search on Google before purchasing a product or service, lack of online visibility translates into extinction.
